Oxford - UK

I've been DJing for about 15 years now, and i've been a music collector for much longer. I've been fortunate enough to play a great many gigs around the UK in that time, and have warmed up for countless artists along the way (Nic Fanciulli, Erol Alkan, Jamie Anderson, and the Stanton Warriors to name a few).

I've also been lucky enough to branch out to playing festivals and boat parties over the years, and have made memories and friends along the way that will last me a lifetime. These days DJing has sadly taken a backseat to grown-up responsibilities (happens to the best of us unfortunately), but I still take a bit of time here and there to run my Cratedigga night in my Witney hometown every so often, where we specialise in entertaining our sleepy little town with our own personal selection of vinyl-based Dance music from days gone by.

Who inspired you to start DJing?

"Paul Oakenfold back in the day. He was the worlds best at the time, his 1999 Essential Mix World Tour was legendary. Never the best at flawless mixing, but his tune selection and they way he blended cinematic scores with uplifting Trance on releases like Perfecto Flouro blew my adolescent mind."

Artists that are doing it for you?

"Gorje Hewek & Izhevski, Martin Waslewski, Jody Wisternoff, Nick Warren, Lee Burridge, Sam Paganini, and Andhim are all doing some incredible work right now."

Most memorable experience

"I played at SeOne, London (sadly now defunct). A friend and I were playing in the House room at a Tidy vs NuReligion event, and despite it being a Hard House night of neon ravers, we filled the room. Getting such a positive reaction to the music we played still lives on in my memory to this day.
